The Office of the Vice President, Equity and Community Inclusion in partnership with The School of Disability Studies welcomes Saqib Shaikh, a blind engineer and designer of the Seeing AI app. 

Saqib Shaikh positions disability as a driver of innovation. He will describe and illustrate the Seeing AI app that provides descriptions of the user’s environment using their phone’s camera. He will also discuss how the app helps bridge the gap between Artificial Intelligence and inclusive design.
