The Office of the Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion (OVPECI) and Student Life and Campus Engagement are pleased to invite the TMU community to recognize International Women's Day. 

Join this session with Marcia Glasgow, Anti-Black Racism Education and Awareness Facilitator, OVPECI that will create an intentional space for students who are women, with different intersectional identities, to share their experiences in academic spaces, keeping with the IWD 2023 theme: Embrace Equity.

Participants will gain:

  • The importance of gender equity in the workplace, society and academia 
  • A deeper understanding of the experiences of women-identifying students, including their successes and challenges as they navigate academia
  • Strategies on how to be an ally to their peers who identify as women

Food and refreshments will be provided.
