As part of a return to in-person, community-centric Pride, Positive Space is hosting a weekly film series throughout the month of June.

Join us for tears, laughter, thrills, and popcorn! Throughout the month, we will screen a variety of films that represent, reflect on, and celebrate our diverse community.

Plus ones are welcome. RSVP is strongly encouraged.

Night 2: Thursday, June 16, 6:00 p.m.

On our second night, we will screen Touch of Pink, the 2004 gay romantic comedy by director Ian Iqbal Rashid, who recently directed Sort Of for CBC/HBO. Touch of Pink is a campy, over the top, surreal, heartfelt parody of the classic Hollywood film, albeit with a Canadian, Indian and British twist. Torn between Toronto and London, a young Indo-African gay man faces coming out to his mother, dealing with his relationship with his white boyfriend, and comically hallucinating Cary Grant. You have to see this underrated gem for yourself! Read more about the film here. (external link)
