2020 Virtual Day of Pink

This year, Positive Space is doing things differently for Day of Pink.

Instead of gathering at the Student Learning Center for a group photo as we have in the past, we will be hosting Day of Pink virtually!

Join us on a Zoom video call in your pink attire on April 8. At 12:15 p.m., we will take screenshots of everyone’s video feed in gallery view.

How to participate (virtually)

On April 8, 2020 from 12 p.m. to 12:20 p.m, put on a pink shirt and join the Zoom video call (external link) .

At 12:15 p.m., we will take a screenshot of the entire group.

We had a great turnout in 2019 and we hope to double the number of participants!

If you are not familiar with Zoom

Review the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching materials in advance of the video call to familiarize yourself with Zoom.

Photographs, videos and recordings: By way of participating in Day of Pink, you hereby grant permission to Ryerson University and its representatives to photograph and video you, and otherwise capture your image, to make recordings of your voice at the event or location noted above.

You further grant to Ryerson University and its representatives the right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast and distribute and create derivative works of these images and recordings in any media now known or later developed as well as your name for promoting, publicizing or explaining Ryerson University and its activities and for administrative, educational or research purposes. You acknowledge that Ryerson University owns all rights to the images and recordings.

If you are unable to join us

If you can’t make it, take a photo of yourself/your team in pink and share it using the hashtag #DayofPink on social media. Share your photo with positivespace@ryerson.ca by April 8, 2020 at 5 p.m. so we can share it with Ryerson Today!
