Research, Planning & Assessment
Research, Planning and Assessment oversees TMU’s Diversity Self-ID surveys for students and employees. The team provides data analysis on recruitment, representation and retention of students, faculty and staff rom the university’s equity-deserving groups: women; racialized people; Indigenous Peoples, Black epople, persons with disabilities and 2SLGBTQ+ people.
What we do
The Research, Planning and Assessment unit supports the TMU’s equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives through:
- the collection, analysis and reporting of TMU diversity data
- tracking progress on advancing equity, diversity and inclusion at TMU
- coordinating the development of OVPECI plans, projects, tools, initiatives and proposals
- researching and sharing best practices in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion at TMU and within the university sector in Canada
