Programs & Courses

The Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy offers the most comprehensive range of undergraduate entrepreneurship in Canada, as well as providing courses within our graduate programs.

We deliver 26 different undergraduate courses along with the contribution of some courses across a range of graduate programs. Our courses draw on current entrepreneurial practices such as lean startup, business models, and design thinking.

Students whose primary interest is in innovation and ownership entrepreneurship can complete a Major in entrepreneurship. Those interested in adding an entrepreneurship component to their degree can choose from either a Minor (opens in new window)  or Certificate (opens in new window) , or choose individual courses that match their particular interests.

We also offer Startup School (opens in new window) , a flexible range of free workshops designed to support the whole Toronto Metropolitan University entrepreneurial community, from which students can choose to build their own customised entrepreneurship course to help their specific start-up idea.

Our faculty are key contributors to the Ted Rogers MBA, providing courses in strategy, entrepreneurship as well as coaching students who are developing their own business start-ups.
