History Double Major

Students will still graduate within their expected 4 year time frame (based on typical 5 course enrollment per fall and winter terms). 

Applicants to the Double Major programs must already be TMU students in the English program. To join the double major programs, students typically begin the application process in December of their first year.The application procedure involves submitting the necessary information through a Google Form. Students are required to take certain courses to be elligible for application.

Successful applicants are notified of their acceptance before the start of their second year. Upon acceptance, these students officially commence their double major status at the beginning of their second year of studies.

It's important for students interested in joining double major programs to carefully adhere to application deadlines, provide thorough and thoughtful responses in their applications, and seek guidance from academic advisors to ensure a smooth transition into the dual-major curriculum.
