WEMADEIT (Grade 7 - 12)

FuturENG at TMU welcomes highly motivated and talented female students in Grades 9 and 12 to discover engineering at the university level. Funded by Hydro One through the WEMADEIT (external link)  program, this event combines theory with practical experience in cutting-edge technologies.

Students participate in a series of workshops and hands-on activities that foster problem solving, analytical and communication skills. The event allows students to better understand life as an engineer, with a focus on the global and societal impacts of the profession. Students will also have the opportunity to meet industry professionals, engineering mentors and students across the Greater Toronto Area, building a network of like-minded women in STEM.
