I have a background in elementary school teaching and conducting research on inclusive educational practices. My current research interests focus on educational reform in elementary schools in North America, and in particular, how this is viewed through the systems theory approach that is based on the works of Niklas Luhmann and his theory of a functionally differentiated society.
