
Betina brings a wealth of experience in research and program management, having worked with UN agencies, international humanitarian organizations, think tanks and academic institutions. Before rejoining the Diversity Institute, she served as the special programs manager at DMZ, where she fostered partnerships between startups and multinational corporations. Previously, she led a multi-country project in Tunisia that covered Libya, Lebanon and Palestine, designing and monitoring programs to address local population needs. Additionally, she managed the monitoring and reporting of over $230 million in UN programs and projects in Ukraine. Betina holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and governance from Toronto Metropolitan University and a master’s degree in global governance from the University of Waterloo. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and sampling great food.
