James Walton has worked at the Diversity Institute since 2020 and holds a MA from Queen's University. He has worked on numerous projects in his time at DI, with a focus on how equity, diversity and inclusion are impacted by technological innovation and organizational culture. In his day-to-day work James creates presentations, web content and acts as an editor for his colleagues. His other research interests include the history of technology, naval history and rural economic development. Prior to joining the Diversity Institute James spent time working in local economic development, rural broadband connectivity, and teaching.
