Alice Congera

Alice Congera is currently pursuing an MA in Immigration and Settlement Studies (ISS) at Toronto Metropolitan University. She has an Honours of Social Sciences with a specialization in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from the University of Ottawa. 

Throughout her undergraduate degree, Alice worked for several governmental agencies as a student, where she learned about the Canadian Government’s policy and regulatory processes. Through these roles, she learned the importance of social policies and their impact on marginalized communities. After completing her MA, Alice hopes to work with an immigration-focused agency to better the lives of newly-arrived immigrants.
