Ryan Wilock

Ryan Wilock, was the co-founder of Popular Records (Canada’s leading Electronic Dance Label that was acquired by EMI in 2002), and was instrumental in the careers of The Beastie Boys, Eiffel 65, David Guetta and Daft Punk (to name a few) in his role as a National Marketing Manager.  Ryan holds a Master’s of Digital Media from Ryerson University, and currently supports startups across Ryerson’s Zone network as a Startup Advisor.  He is also a lecturer in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy (at Ryerson) where he teaches the courses New Venture Startup, and Identifying Opportunities.  A certified advisor for both 100 Steps To Startup and Growth Wheel, Ryan is an expert in assisting Startups/Founders balance the importance of Customer and Market Validation as they forge their path to creating sustainable ventures.  Ryan is a lifelong entrepreneur with a passion for assisting others, he is also a Syndicated Radio content creator for Bell Media; his properties air weekly across Canada.
