The Career, Co-op & Student Success Centre is Toronto Metropolitan University's central resource to access relevant and responsive support to navigate their way in, through and out of Toronto Met into their careers. Our innovative model of support allows us to meet students where they are in their journey, delivering equity-focused and inclusive programs and services that cover a student's journey from their first year at TMU through to their graduation into their career.
Future Makers (opens in new window)
The Future Makers program is designed to help companies and organizations in the creative industries future-proof their business models by forecasting trends and setting new standards for the creative sector in Toronto and across Canada. During the pilot phase, Future Makers partnered with the City of Toronto to support organizations in applying for the Mitacs Business Strategy Internship. In the summer of 2021, we connected innovative students with creative industry organizations to develop strategies for pandemic recovery and engaging with evolving audiences.
Creative Mornings (external link, opens in new window)
CreativeMornings is the world’s largest face-to-face creative community — a global breakfast lecture series serving local creative communities in over 200 cities. Started in 2008 by Tina Roth Eisenberg, she wanted an easy way for her New York creative community to come together, on a regular basis. CreativeMornings events are free of charge and always will be. Events happen on a monthly basis typically featuring an inspiring talk and breakfast.
