Sarah’s research explores how liposomal nanoparticles of different sizes and surface chemistries interact with serum proteins. She develops characterization and purification protocols for organic and inorganic nanoparticles in collaboration with other researchers. Sarah is also working on the development of virus-like-particle technology by reconstituting SARS-CoV-2 spike proteins into liposomal nanoparticles.
