These reflections by our participants were written in response to the Crafting Community: A Symposium on Arts Practice & Research that took place in October 2022. Here we publish their takeaways from the symposium, their insights on the intersection of the creative and learning processes and simply sparks of inspirational thoughts that emerged during the symposium participation.
"Despite working from shared materials & inspirations, each participant ended up with a final product that was completely unique to the other creations. Every finished piece made use of different words & images & ended up conveying widespread messages on a variety of topics.
