Get ready for Winter 2025 final exams
Are you a student who requires help during an online exam?
If you experience any problems during an exam delivered in D2L Brightspace, for most problems, you should communicate with your instructor directly (ie. if you can't access your exam, have problems accessing any of the content within the exam, or had a problem with your device or internet connection). Your instructor creates your exams and controls your access.
For technical problems (ie. logging in or accessing D2L Brightspace), you can request technical support via help.torontomu.ca/ithelp (opens in new window). Please note that this is for technical issues only.
Questions related to access to course content or exam schedules should be directed to your instructor.
Support for instructors creating online exams
The Brightspace support team has put together a collection of tips for preparing for online exams, including:
- how to choose the best tool for your exam
- tasks you should complete in advance
- things you may need to do just prior to starting an exam
We very strongly recommend setting up your exam well ahead of time. If you have any problems, or would like advice about strategy, you can contact our team, at courses@torontomu.ca. We can help you with a solution before the day of the exam, to ensure exam day goes as smoothly as possible.
While we do our best to respond quickly, as exam time draws closer, we see a higher volume of queries, and responses may take a little longer than usual.
