Bicycle Parking

A student walking her bicycle through the lush green Quad.

Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, cycling is one of the best ways for TMU students, faculty and staff to commute to and from campus. We offer a combination of outdoor and secure indoor bicycle parking to not only meet the transportation needs of the university, but to encourage sustainable transportation habits within our community.

To find a spot, visit the TMU campus map and select “Bicycle Parking” in the legend.

Outdoor bicycle parking

TMU community members are encouraged to choose from the more than 1,100 outdoor bicycle parking locations on campus equipped with stationary, permanent bicycle “post and ring” poles or racks. Cyclists should not lock their bicycles to railings, ramps, fences or other areas not specifically made for bicycles or they risk their bicycle being removed.

Reserved secure bicycle parking

Store your bike on campus with peace of mind by purchasing one of our 98 reserved secure bicycle parking permits! Available to students, faculty and staff, permit holders have 24/7 access to dedicated bicycle storage rooms located on the lower level of the Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex (DCC) at 288 Church St.

Love to bike but can’t afford to be sweaty in class or at your desk? No problem! Using your OneCard, permit holders have access to dedicated shower and washroom facilities in the DCC.
