"My experience with the Hub at TMU has been incredibly valuable. Throughout the past two years, I received exceptional support, especially with resume/cover letter building and job applications.

I had the privilege of working closely with Jason Andrada, the career consultant for my Business Technology Management major. Jason helped me prepare for my first job interview by guiding me through BCH resources, offering advice on improving my resume, and even conducting a mock interview. His professionalism, kindness, and insightful feedback were instrumental in helping me present my skills effectively. Thanks to his guidance, I successfully secured my first job at Toronto Metropolitan University! I am incredibly grateful for all the support and look forward to working more with the Hub in the future."

"I highly recommend every TRSM student to visit the Hub for career guidance and coaching. The support I received throughout my journey was truly unparalleled. From help creating a solid resume to mock interview preparation. I’m especially grateful to my career advisor, Jason, whose support went beyond just career advice, providing me with words of encouragement and boosting my self confidence when I needed it the most.

The personalized coaching experience has made a huge impact on my career journey."

"The Hub has been incredibly helpful along my journey of securing my first Co-op work term. Be it through teaching me how to consistently build resumes and cover letters that are effective, or how to prepare for interviews, I'm sure what I’ve learned from the Co-op program will guide me through my career far into the distant future.

However, the support extends beyond just application making and interview prep. Trying to secure your placement can be demanding at times. I’ve come to really appreciate having a Co-op Coordinator support me through the first leg of the journey."

"Throughout my Co-op journey, the Hub provided me with abundant resources and support. From helping to fine-tune my resume and cover letter, as well as granting me abundant opportunities to share my co-op success stories, the Hub has been a large proponent of my successes during my work terms.

This is particularly true of my work terms at The Hospital for Sick Children, where I was able to share my experiences during the Ted Rogers Commerce in Health Care Panel, and even land a post-grad role at SickKids! Having worked incredibly hard with the BCH and at my placement in Research Finance at SickKids, I was awarded the Herman Schneider Memorial Award for 2023!"
