Shaping the next generation of doctors

We have designed our medical school to empower the next generation of doctors to innovate, disrupt and drive change within the healthcare system for the benefit of our communities—in Brampton and beyond.

Dr. Teresa M. Chan

“We’re building a new platform for medical education that has equity poured into its foundation. By building upon our five pillars, we can ensure that generations of future doctors are ready to confidently and compassionately care for diverse communities and ultimately be agents of change.”

Our pillars

Our bold new model for medical training is rooted in five guiding principles.

We will train physicians to work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, nutritionists and other healthcare professionals to achieve better patient outcomes—and lead the medical profession into the future.
