We are now recruiting both part-time and adjunct clinical faculty!

Working with TMU's School of Medicine is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute to building a new model of care. No matter how you choose to be involved, you'll shape the kinds of doctors who care as deeply about the quality of their medical skills as they do about building a practice that is culturally respectful, intentionally inclusive and continuously innovative.

Give Now to create healthy change through education.

A global pandemic has left our healthcare system in crisis, and has exacerbated challenges, such as our growing shortage of primary care physicians, our quickly aging population, and  communities that remain medically under-served.

Toronto Metropolitan University’s new School of Medicine in Brampton is ready to meet these challenges, with a new approach to medical education in Ontario. The school’s students will graduate as future-ready physicians, who deliver compassionate, holistic, and culturally respectful care, and who are equipped to lead health system transformation.

Join us, and together, we can achieve a healthier society.

Faculty

Contribute your expertise to School of Medicine academic activities.

The School of Medicine is developing the curriculum for Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) Program and Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Program, which begin in 2025.

We're looking to engage interprofessional and interdisciplinary expertise to provide key competencies needed to train the medical students and residents who will become your future physicians.

Community organizations

Become a community-based learning partner.

The School of Medicine is committed to educating students to become compassionate, culturally respectful, and future-ready clinicians who provide outstanding holistic healthcare and who lead in health system transformation.

We are seeking community organizations across Brampton and Peel Region to collaborate  with medical students on a community-based advocacy project (CAP).
