Triven Kannan

Triven Kannan is a third-year medical student at McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine. He is passionate about building inclusive, culturally-safe curriculum, and promoting multi-disciplinary collaboration in medical education. Triven is dedicated to addressing gaps in healthcare policy by centering equity-seeking groups. As a lifelong musician, he also believes in utilizing the arts to bridge communities, especially with youth engagement. Triven holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with a double major in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences and Physiology from Western University.
