Nivashi Arulventh

Nivashi Arulventh is a dedicated fourth-year Nursing student at Toronto Metropolitan University, committed to mental health care and addressing social determinants of health. As a Clinical Extern in the ICU at Humber River Hospital and a Research Assistant at CAMH and TMU, she helps investigate the challenges faced by minority groups due to social determinants, alongside her broader mental health research. Nivashi collaborates with healthcare professionals and community organizations to improve mental health care delivery. Her strong leadership and research skills drive her advocacy for equitable healthcare and holistic care approaches, aiming to make a meaningful impact in mental health and beyond.
