Megan Werger

Megan Werger is a medical student at the University of Toronto. Previously, she received her Hons. Bachelor of Science from McMaster University in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour. Megan's current research is on improving pain management options for common gynecological and obstetrical procedures. She has strong interests in improving medical education and mentoring individuals from vulnerable populations. Megan's political advocacy efforts focus on prevention of sexual and/or gender-based violence, sexual health and housing insecurity. Megan served on the McMaster President's Advisory Committee on Building an Inclusive Community, specifically the interfaith and accessibility working groups, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
