Julia Selmani

Julia Selmani joins the Learner Advisory Committee with a background in Biochemistry from McMaster, where she contributed to thrombosis research at TaARI and still actively provides academic support and resources to undergraduates and underrepresented youth. She currently works at Toronto General Hospital as a Clinical Transplant Research Coordinator and creates educational material as an Intern for ReelDx Medical Education. Julia actively encourages an inclusive and comfortable environment where diverse perspectives are both recognized and implemented, and particularly enjoys advocating for those who lack resources and guidance in education. During her spare time, she loves helping with car shows and learning about unique builds.
