James Lisondra
James Lisondra is a current medical student at the University of Ottawa and previously attended Ontario Tech University in Oshawa. He is on a mission to leverage community and education-based strategies to improve access to healthcare among marginalized communities. On the Admissions Committee and Aesculapian Society at uOttawa, James advocates for integrating EDID practices in curriculum, student affairs, and admissions. As a 2023 Amgen Scholar at the University of Toronto, he evaluated HIV prevention methods among queer and trans youth. On the LAC, James hopes to help foster a medical school that looks like the communities it seeks to heal.
