Sport Media
Sport Media explores the production, management and business of sport entertainment.
As a student in Sport Media, you’ll hone your reporting skills at the Sportsnet RTA Production Centre — a professional-grade studio with all the latest tech, including a video switcher, digital audio console, 3D graphics system, replay system, cameras, and much more. It’s the perfect playground to gain hands-on experience and build a portfolio that sets you apart from the competition. With access to valuable networking opportunities and the option to minor in Business Essentials at the Ted Rogers School of Management, you’ll graduate with marketable skills and industry connections.
Hands-on Learning + Industry Experience
A curriculum centred around hands-on learning means you’ll graduate with industry experience and connections. Shoot TMU Varsity Athletics games, host your own live sports radio talk show with SpiritLive, intern with a professional sports league or sport entertainment company — these are just a few examples of the professional development opportunities available to Sport Media students.
