About the Racial Justice Initiative

The Racial Justice Initiative (RJI) will serve as a critical bridge between scholarship, law, policy, and practice and will bring together critical players from various sectors to design and implement research-based solutions on issues of racial justice. We will collaborate with partners to engage in research, teaching, student engagement, and public service.

The RJI aims to attract highly regarded faculty members with expertise in racial justice to lead the program. Alongside our law school's faculty, these subject matter experts will engage in research, weave racial justice throughout the law curriculum, help develop a racial justice legal clinic, build a program of funded internships and externships, and cultivate a host of mentoring and experiential opportunities for our students.
