Youth Mental Health Summit: Local and Global Connections and Perspectives (external link)
Join us at the Youth Mental Health Summit to explore local and global perspectives on youth well-being and innovative mental health solutions. Hosted at TMU, this summit will convene experts, scholars and practitioners to exchange knowledge, discuss research findings and foster collaborative approaches to enhancing mental health and resilience among diverse youth populations. Building Community Across our Universe-City
In celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month and Wellbeing Week, you’re invited to join a screening of Across the Universe-City, a short film created by the Employees with Disabilities Community Network (EwDCN) in partnership with TMU’s own Cyrus Sunder-Singh. This event is hosted by the EwDCN and the Accessibility unit in the Office of the Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion (OVPECI). After the screening, participate in a Q&A with the film’s creators.

Pride Activism: Student Sexual Health
Join the TMU School of Medicine, the Urban Health program and the Positive Space Faculty and Staff Network to learn about the intersections of activism and sexual health in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The event will include a frank, open, informative, empowering and fun discussion about how activism and sexual health in the 2SLGBTQ+ community go hand in hand.

Virtual Spotlight: At the Intersection of Asian and 2SLGBTQ+ Identities with New Ho Queen
Organized by the Asian Faculty and Staff Community Network and the Positive Space Faculty and Staff Network, this virtual spotlight will engage in a Q&A with New Ho Queen (external link) co-directors Patrick Salvani and Raphael Sanchez. In 2024, TMU’s Department of Architectural Science celebrates 75+ years of architectural education; 50+ years of degree-granting; and 15+ years of graduate studies. Photo Dip: Exploring Queer Photography at the Image Centre
All 2SLGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff and allies are invited to join The Image Centre and the Positive Space Faculty and Staff Network for Photo Dip: Queer Photographs from the Image Centre Collection. This is a one-hour, guided viewing and discussion of photographs highlighting the historical and contemporary representation of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Pink Libraries Tour: Day 1
A guided tour of the Libraries with a focus on 2SLGBTQ+ materials and activities. Learn about search techniques using our Queer and Trans Research Guides, explore the Collaboratory and Immersion Studio, visit the Law Library and tour 2SLGBTQ+ collections unique to TMU at the Archives and Special Collections.
