Level up with Global Entrepreneurship Week events at TMU
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is taking place once again at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) – and whether you’re a student, staff member, researcher or faculty member – Zone Learning events can benefit us all.
“We’re excited to welcome all members of the TMU community to events and activities for Global Entrepreneurship Week,” said John MacRitchie, assistant vice-president, Zone Learning & Strategic Initiatives. “This week is for everyone – not just those who identify as entrepreneurs, but anyone who wants to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset to help them get ahead.”
GEW is an annual, global initiative to recognize and empower innovators and celebrate an entrepreneurial spirit.
To recognize the event this year, TMU’s Office of Zone Learning and Strategic Initiatives is hosting various workshops, speaking events and learning opportunities designed to inspire all members of the community.
Daily Innovations & Side Hustles
The theme of this year’s GEW at TMU is Daily Innovation & Side Hustles. “Daily innovation” encourages community members to consider the impact that an entrepreneurial mindset can have on their everyday lives - whether in the classroom, in their career or in their personal lives.
Side hustles are also a focus of this year’s activities. Whether you’re a student, staff member or professor, you may have a passion you’d like to pursue, or perhaps you’ve already taken steps to do so. Events this year are aimed to help you advance in your journey.
