Scholarships and bursaries
TMU offers a wide range of scholarships and bursaries for students who demonstrate academic excellence, extracurricular involvement, financial need or are of an equity-deserving group. Scholarships are typically merit-based and do not need to be repaid, making them an ideal source of funding. Bursaries, on the other hand, are awarded based on financial need and can provide essential support when you're facing a financial shortfall.
Student employment opportunities
Another way to manage the cost of your education is by taking advantage of student employment opportunities on and off campus. TMU's Career, Co-op & Student Success Centre offers a job search support platform where you can find part-time, full-time, and co-op positions to help finance your studies. Plus, the TMU Tutor Match program offers qualified students the chance to earn money by providing tutoring services to their peers.
