Graduate Checklist

1. Convocation Registration

Register your attendance for the Lincoln Alexander School of Law Convocation.

 

3. Invite your Guests

All guests must have a ticket, which is claimed by the graduand during registration for convocation. Any guest under the age of 5 does not require a ticket as long as they are seated on the lap of a parent/guardian for the entire duration of the ceremony. 

5. Grad Attire

It is recommended that "Business Attire" be worn for Convocation. Please also wear COMFORTABLE dress shoes as you will be standing for several hours. (If needed, bring an extra pair of shoes and ask a family member to hold them for you.) For more information about what you can wear, read our regalia guidelines.

7.  Camera Ready

Make sure your phone is charged so that you can take pictures when the time comes and you can keep memories of your day! Share with us on social media using the hashtag #LincolnProud.

9. Class Composite

Don't forget to pick-up your class composite from the TMSU booth in the Jet Ice Lounge (fourth floor). 

2.  Grad Confirmation

With your big day around the corner, ensure you have your Grad registration confirmation, OneCard, or student number ready for your ceremony.

4. Personal Belongings

Keep ALL personal items to a minimum. Consider asking a family member to hold your personal belongings.

6. Arrival

The big day is here! Plan your trip, check in and collect your regalia. From then on you will be guided through the pre-ceremony and ceremony.  

Bring your registration confirmation (QR code or printed) and OneCard. You will receive a gown and hood, depending on your program, and a Name Reader Card.

 

8. Gown Return and Diploma Pick-up

After the ceremony, please return your regalia to the Varsity Court within 45 minutes of the ceremony end time.  Once you return your regalia, you will receive your award document (diploma or certificate) from Curriculum Advising.

10. TMU Memorabilia

The Campus Store will be located on the fourth floor of the Mattamy Athletic Centre during your convocation ceremony. TMU memorabilia, including frames for your award documents, will be available for purchase at that time.
