Dr. Egbe B. Etowa
Dr. Egbe Etowa is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Community Services (in FCS). He holds OHTN Winston Husbands Leadership Award in Strengthening the Response to HIV among Black Communities. As an Associate Scientist and Independent Researcher in OHTN; he is the NPA in "HIV-Response Intergenerational Participatory Project among Black Men". He has extensive experience in HIV community-based research and knowledge mobilisation. He is a co-investigator in the African/Caribbean Track HIV Surveillance in Ontario, a weSpeak program postdoctoral fellow, and member of the National Expert Working Group on the COVID-19 Impact on Access to STBBI and Harm Reduction Services. Dr Etowa is PhD Agricultural Economist with five years University teaching/research experience. Dr Etowa connected with health and social scientist to secure post-doctoral fellowship in health equity research to move to Canada in 2018.
