International Education Week (IEW) 2024

Two students sitting outdoors and smiling

Every year in November, International Education Week (IEW) invites communities across the globe to draw attention to international education, research and cross-cultural exchange.

From November 18-22, 2024, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) joins this initiative to advance international community and intercultural dialogue through a week-long, impactful series of events. With a wide range of interactive activities, workshops and social gatherings, TMU invites our students, faculty and staff to celebrate the diverse array of cultures on our dynamic downtown Toronto campus!

TMU Goals for IEW:

  • Learn about TMU’s diverse community through knowledge sharing, language, culture and more
  • Create awareness for global learning, student mobility opportunities and cross-cultural awareness
  • Enhance global community, industry, and entrepreneurial collaborations
  • Build on an intersectionality-informed campus through amplifying global and newcomer perspectives
  • Celebrate our international community and the benefits of international education

The IEW team is working hard to schedule a dynamic and engaging week of events. Please stay tuned for the full IEW 2024 programming!
