Student Affairs

Student Affairs at Toronto Metropolitan University is a team of educators, learners, and professionals dedicated to supporting students at every stage of their university journey. We provide exceptional services to enhance academic, professional, and personal development. These services are delivered through online and in-person workshops, through 1:1 appointments, through peer support and professional advising, and in partnership with Faculty and other campus partners. 

Student Affairs is composed of four distinct divisions: 

• Career, Co-op and Student Success
• Housing & Residence Life
• Student Life and Learning Support
• Student Care and Sexual Violence Support which includes Consent Comes First. 

These divisions work collaboratively to foster a thriving community and provide all students with the holistic support and resources needed to succeed.

Funding priorities include:

• Student work and mentoring experiences
• Enhancing housing services 
• Programming for students from equity-seeking groups.
