Statutes
Ombudsman Act
In January, 2017, Ontario universities became subject to the Ombudsman Act (external link) . This means that complaints about Toronto Metropolitan University can now be investigated by the Ontario Ombudsman. However, the Ontario Ombudsman is an office of last resort. It will only investigate a complaint after the complainant has exhausted all other compliant resolution options available at the university.
Please contact our office if you are unsure what complaint resolution options are available to you.
