Program Advisory
In 2013, Toronto Metropolitan University was one of the few schools in Canada to offer a Financial Mathematics program. Since then, the field has seen tremendous growth. To ensure that our graduates are well-positioned in the financial sector, we established the Financial Mathematics Program Advisory Committee.
Tailoring Programs with Industry Input
We’ve brought in leaders from enterprise-level organizations to provide critical input on our academic program. This exclusive group consists of both professors and industry professionals.
We meet regularly to match curriculums to the latest developments in Finance and to discuss questions such as: What breaking issues and emerging areas do students need to navigate? What new experiential learning opportunities can our students participate in?
Our Goal
Continually advancing the intersection of mathematics, finance and data science for our students.
