Mr. George Durkin, a police officer, faces extreme pressures at work. His choice to use and abuse alcohol to manage work pressures affect his family; especially his daughter Leah.

Leah Durkin, fifteen years-old, has been in the care of the Children’s Aid Society (CAS) for the last two months. This has precipitated the need for a Family meeting with all members of the Durkin Family present. As Leah’s call initiated this process it is important to meet with Leah before engaging the whole family to understand the initial circumstances leading to the upcoming family meeting. You are the professional assigned the Durkin Family Case and today is your first meeting with Leah.
