Progress of Recommendations

The Presidential Implementation Committee to Confront Anti-Black Racism has been working towards the implementation of 14 recommendations that came out of Toronto Metropolitan University’s  (PDF file) Anti-Black Racism Campus Climate Review Report, published by the Office of the Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion (OVPECI) in 2020.

Working groups are making strides advancing their progress. A result-based management and evaluation framework is being used to monitor implementation of all recommendations, assess their outcomes and report on progress. The committee is pleased to provide our community with an update of the progress made to implement the 14 recommendations.
