Spring 2025

Passionate about social justice, Nicoletta Eyamo studied law and graduated in 2010 with a Master's degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from the Catholic University of Central Africa in Yaoundé. Recognized for her activism in favour of women's rights, she has worked for several United Nations Agencies and International organizations and supported better gender representation in national and cross-border programs and projects. Her work supporting women's empowerment has focused on the reduction of gender-based violence, improved social security for women (including access to health and the fight against HIV-AIDS), and building networks with public and private partners to improve the living conditions of people in general, and specific groups such as people forced to move.

Research focus while a Fellow with CERC

Nicoletta will focus on a project on sustainable housing for women in precarious situations and their access to public services. The project aims to provide more than just functional accommodation, but create living spaces that promote well-being, security and a sense of belonging to help restore the dignity of displaced people, migrants and vulnerable groups. Her goal is to expand the network with people and institutions who have the same interest, or who carried out a similar project in their context.
