Cisco Jabber is an app that allows you to make and receive phone calls to your TMU extension on your computer or mobile device.
Installing Jabber
Once you receive confirmation from CCS that you’ve been moved to the new Cisco system, please download and set up Jabber on your computer or mobile device. Instructions can be found under the “Cisco Jabber” section of the Software for Phones and Fax page.
Using Jabber
Important note: In the event of an emergency, it’s strongly recommended that you dial 911 using your cellular phone line as Jabber cannot pinpoint your location for emergency responders.
If you’d like to clear your account settings including call, chat and file history, or if you’re experiencing issues that logging out and logging back in does not solve, you can reset Jabber.
1. Launch the Jabber mobile app and do not sign in. If you are automatically signed in, please sign out.
