IBM TSM license for 1 Intel CPU core, based on a CPU type equivalent to 70 PVUs per core at $40.00 per core	This is an example to guide you in the calculation of the backup software license cost for a physical server. The cost for each CPU core is approximate and can be confirmed with vendor at time of purchase. Please note that CPU sockets come with multiple CPU cores, and the server itself may have multiple CPU sockets. Hence, the total cost will be based on #sockets x #cores. The first year of support is included in the license cost, but following years require a support contract (~ 20% of initial cost). For example, if you licensed a server with 2 sockets and each socket had 5 CPU cores, the # of licensed cores would be 10 (2 sockets x 5 cores), and your backup software license, including 1st year of support, would cost ~ $2,800.00 ($280.00 x 10).	$280.00 one time
