Migrate your Adobe data by September 18

August 01, 2024

To: All students, faculty and staff who hold an Adobe Creative Cloud account

As part of the university’s continued phased approach to implement the Toronto Metropolitan University name, Computing and Communications Services (CCS) is upgrading elements of the university’s IT infrastructure. This phase addresses the Adobe authentication process for students, faculty and staff.

Moving from the ryerson.ca to torontomu.ca Adobe environment

An account has now been created for you in the new torontomu.ca Adobe cloud environment. Your existing ryerson.ca Adobe account remains available for a short time, so you can move your files to the new torontomu.ca Adobe environment.

Migrate Adobe files by September 18 to retain access

If you wish to retain access to any Adobe files you currently own, they will need to be moved to the new torontomu.ca Adobe environment. Here’s what you’ll need to do before the September 18 deadline:

  1. Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). Since TMU’s Adobe logins are tied to a Microsoft system, you will need to set up a Microsoft-specific MFA, if you have not previously done so. For guidance, please visit the  (google doc) TMU How-To Guide: Setting Up Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (external link) .
  2. Migrate any Adobe files you own in the ryerson.ca Adobe cloud environment to the torontomu.ca Adobe cloud environment by September 18, 2024. Note that each Adobe product may have different processes for copying data between Adobe Creative Cloud accounts. Find guidance on how to transfer assets across accounts or profiles (external link) .
