Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI) has profound implications for many aspects of our lives, such as education, health, finances, employment, political opinions and who our friends are. In this course, students will employ foundational philosophical ideas to discuss and analyze AI in relation to topics such as the possibility of artificial consciousness, perception, and creativity, or matters of equity, accountability, privacy and transparency, ethics, and politics.
