Intro to Sound Design
Further studies focusing on designing with sound for performance, including comprehensive practice in using sound tools to practice ideation, sound creation, and the skills required to collaborate across disciplines in the live performance context. Students will gain an advanced knowledge of theatre-specific audio software and will further expand their skills in sound system operation. By course end, participants will emerge equipped with a nuanced understanding of how sound enhances storytelling in a live performance context.
