Choreographic Practice

This course examines the artistic practices of choreography, dramaturgical studies, and performance interpretation. Through physical research in the studio, students will experience a variety of creation methods that contribute to our current understanding of dance. While examining and interacting with many performance tools and techniques, this class will encourage students to question the motivation behind their creative curiosity. This class asks the student to question, “What do I have to say as an artist?”
