Economics of Developing Countries

This course is designed for upper-year students with an interest in the economic problems confronting poor countries, regions and households. Topics may include credit markets, education, health, institutions, politics, and Indigenous economic development in Canada. The course will be based on the critical review of empirical evidence and applied econometric analysis.
