Children and STEM in the Environment

This course explores children’s STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) engagements with a focus on education about, in, and for the environment. Students will examine how children learn the integrated STEM disciplines and how their related curiosities, understandings, and applications guide their knowing and being in the world. This course will engage students in early years STEM curriculum and pedagogy including designing, facilitating, and assessing children’s explorations in STEM.
