International Context

This course provides an academic and pragmatic framework to complement in-person international intensives and exchanges. Students will consider their travel locations' social, cultural, and political climates through research assignments and reflections. Classes will be asynchronous and consist of video, audio, and written content modules. Topics include cross-cultural communication, designing for global audiences, cultural sensitivity in design and creative industries, and intercultural collaboration.
