Seminar in Metaphysics and Epistemology
This seminar is concerned with the nature of reality and our knowledge of it. Topics will vary, but may include: realism and alternatives; skepticism; causation; causal accounts of knowledge; the possibility of truth in ethics; modal knowledge claims; reliabilism and justified true belief accounts of knowledge; new conceptions of experience. Students will normally be required to write a major paper and
do an oral presentation.
